Song description..

In short.... it's written about The Griffin being a 'guardian of the soul' figure.

The 'kings gold' being guarded and protected... and the 'kings gold' being one's own spark, life force and energy. The Griffin is an inner protector of that, from the draining, depleting forces of others.

To have The Griffin's 'eyes' is to 'see' when a person is looking to cost my precious energies, The Griffin notifies me and protects me from such.

A silver toe, a griffin’s wing, a golden glow -protect these things,

combined with the king of the beasts, lord of the Earth,
-symbol of the sun, of wisdom, of vengeance, symbol of strength and salvation...

take my poetry from my page, but you can't take the things that makes it glow.....he reads you so well,
